The Kahlo: bottle and cocktail

“Feet what do I need you for,

when I have wings to fly.”

–Frida Kahlo

Change. It’s a sure thing with shaky legs. Your presence is being requested towards this pulsing vortex overflowing with new, and you have to have enough faith in the invisible to reap the tangible. But leap you must—for the net will be sure to appear.

III.  Shake as if your life depends on it. (Roughly 15 seconds)

IV.  Strain onto dragon fruit and lime concoction.

IV.  Top with chilled Elderflower Tonic Water.

Notes:

◈  Yellow dragon fruit is also acceptable, if it can be found near you. However, it is ridiculously sweet. If you are not a fan of sweet cocktails and you use a yellow dragon fruit, cut the watermelon juice in half.

◈  Elderflower tonic is highly recommended for this recipe, as it plays well with the watermelon juice, in giving off a full herbal puckered flavor.
