Bourbon Pear Due Dill-igence

My quarantine experience has been a lot like Vegas. I’m not really sure what day it is, there’s talk of loss of money, and its always cocktail o’ clock. What differs you might ask? I’ve traded the blazers and sequins for all day pajamas, and the new risk is in the grocery store, instead of the casino. My taste buds however are still living their best life and I’m letting them do their thing! So when my sister said, “Jasmine—the most beautiful amazing sister in the world, lets make a cocktail.” My taste buds screamed,

“pear! Dill! Bourbon!”

Dill—well that’s different. But when all you have is time, and you’ve been diligently being a bum for the safety of others—why question? Just do!

So like a mad scientist on a mission for a delicious buzz, we went to work on creating a divine whirlwind of what may seem like an odd duo at first gander, but ultimately turned out to be a dill-icious sensational pair/pear. That pun was just too good to pass up.

Thank me later. Drink up Now!

Notes:

◈  Use whichever type of pear you’d like, or is available to you.

◈  Use filtered water in your simple syrup for a clearer better tasting concoction.

◈  It is very important to make sure syrup is completely cool before adding lemon, pear and dill. If added while still hot, the flavors will taste blanketed.

◈  Ice balls are not necessary, use whichever style of frozen water you’d like.
